Saturday 23rd October, the club arranged a visit to Brooklands Museum by coach from Dunstable. Around 38 club members and friends attended. It was a great day out and everyone seemed to enjoy the day. The Brooklands site has a number of interesting buildings to explore.

AGM – Monday 10th Feb 2020 at 8.00 pm

AGM report by Derek.

We had our AGM on monday evening which was well attended and the Bangers and Mash were well received. The old club is thriving presently and with the new season nearly upon us, there is much to look forward to. Sadly in recent times we have lost two members. Brian Chelmick passed away on Nov 28th 2019. Just a few days ago dear Colin Horton left us after a short period in hospital.

The existing committee of six was unanimously re-elected.  It was agreed by members that a nominal charge would be made for some events during the year, however, there is no intention to increase membership fees.

LFT last year again had good attendance from the public and we were able to support several local needy causes. Our next meeting will be on March 9th at the Old Dunstablians Rugby Club in Houghton Regis. New members are always welcome.

It’s possible that the local press may carry a small item to do with the good deeds our little club manages to provide. Watch out for an item in the next few weeks.

We intend to continue with our afternoon meets at the Rugby club which were successful last season. They are free to attend and there will be food on offer if all goes well.
